If the price runs up, then the strike price for converting shares also runs up. They were planning on 60 cents, now its higher. Softbank may not want to loan the money if they can't get the conversion price down. Fewer preferred shrs would be issued and all that.

Lot of things at play here. With current interest in internet commerce, somebody may come along, but if they don't have encryption, I doubt it.
