Somewhat OT ** Re: The market My aunt called me today and told me to invest a sizable chunk of her retirement savings in the stock market. This is a woman who does not speak English, and would rather keep cash at home than trust a bank, and now she is convinced that investing in the stock market is the way to go. I told her she could lose money in the market, and may be she should be conservative being so close to retirement, and she said there was no way she could lose. Well, I disappointed my aunt by refusing to take her money... (may be I should put it in AMAT huh ? :) Sigh.....
