Contractual sales of Zambiaan amethyst

The company has signed a contractual sales agreement with one of the largest companies in Asia for the supply of medium grade amethyst produced by its subsiduary,Krystal Mining. The client visited Zambia
in early April and concluded the agreement.The terms of the agrrement are to supply initially 20 tons of medium grade amethyst each month
for 6 months.Thereafter,the parties have agreed to review the agreement and establish a long term contract. On certain grades of
amethyst the company has agreed not to sell to any party for 3 months until the asian client establishes price structure based on quality and yield parameters.As per agreement, the client is to pay 50% of the invoice value before the shipment leaves Lusaka and the remaining 50%
within 90 days from the receipt of the shipment.The total value of the contract is estimated at $258000 U.S.
The company has shipped 3 consignments of beading grade amethyst to Asian companies worth $98000 of which the company has receives
$50000 U.S.
Based on the current sales and positive responses from the clients,it was confirmed that the medium grade amethyst produced by Krystal Mining in Zambia is ideal for manufacturing various grades of amethyst beads and the high grade amethyst is suitable for making cut polished faceted gemstones.The company has developed a marketing plan
targeting
Asian market for beading material and facet grade amethyst for both
the Asian and American markets.To that effect, the company is contracting prospective client to book additional orders.To initiate
marketing operations in India.
,the company's agent visited Zambia in late March and identified various grades of amethyst suitable for the Indian market.As a result
the company is shipping 20 tons of beading grade amethyst to India by the end of April.
Krystal Mining has initiated its work program at both the RMC and
Konkule Mining properties.The operations at the KKl are targeted to
produce high grade amethyst for the recovery of the facet grade material along with high grade beading amethyst.The facet grade amethyst recovered from this property shall be supplied to the customer booked orders during the past three months
Further to news in Stockwatch dated January 12 1998 in respect to the
Kalunga Wbeba tourmaline property at Lundazi,Eastern Province of Zambia the company has developed phase one of the prospecting plan,
which anticipates will start in the near future.This work program is designed to identify specific targets,in order to further develop the property.
The company will not be proceeding with the private placement as
announced in Stockwatch Feb 6 1998.
Hope this will help you out Rolfo,Got in to Vantage on the recommendation of Doug Casey,about 1 year ago.If they get some of there financial problems sorted out e.g Colossal ect,there might be a little life left yet.
