TDFX's "official" thoughts on today's drop. Required reading: boards.fool.com Here's the relevant excerpt: "Firstly, as others have already mentioned, there was the Intel demo of the i740 yesterday which apparently wooed investors enough to give them cause for concern over 3DFX. Secondly, there was the lockup expiration of approximately 3.5 million shares (which is mentioned in their recent SEC filing). Third, there has been some profit taking since the Q1 earnings report. And fourth, our favourite Oppenheimer analyst, Lenny Brecken, reiterated his "hold" rating on 3DFX" The post goes on to mention that the TDFX brass are in NYC meeting with Merrill Lynch for some unknown reason.
