Yes LT I remember the 70's quite well. In fact that period cured me of trading on margin. Getting those broker calls to ante up more cash was not a pleasant experience. The scary part of all this is listening to many of these analysts tell how different it is with all the 401K money coming in regularly to the market. Most of that money is coming from people who never lived through a sustained bear market either. Most of those 401k's have some sort of fixed income option and it will be interesting to see how much not only stops coming in but switches out of stocks to these safer vehicles if the bear shows. That would be a huge accelrator to the downside. Just some late night musings. Go UNT. Gotta get some more of that.
