Mike now why would I want to do that? I never said VVUS is going to win this but I being a small time investor, who has not been in the market for very long can see the manipulations of prices both long and short do have a vested intrest in seeing this particular stock move up. I was dead against playing it @ 30 although I did do a few trades. At 14 I was telling people to be cautious about it cause of the things I saw. At 10 I was telling people to tread water and at 8 I would recommend it to anyone including my mother. And if it does go to 6 then although I would still get out with a slight loss, I would think a lot of others who jumped in at 14 would be hurt real bad. There is not much I can do about that. But I aint gona bet the farm that it wont get that low, and I aint powerful enough to make sure it wont get there either.
So you can see, Although I do follow the stock from afar, I am not here posting all the time anyway. I think theres prob 3 posts when it was in the 25-35 range the first time, 3 from the 25-35 range the second time and the 15-20 in the 8 to 10 range. The more posts are there currently cause I do think theres money to be made on the long side. And my intrest is more on the humane nature of things that I would not want to see any company that makes things usefull for other people destroyed. I have already stopped posting on the Long thread cause they dont think this stock's fun anymore. And you prob wont think its fun in a bit either, which would remove me from both forums anyway :)
And last of all, to me all this is a learning experience, hence I post what I think I am seeing (which does look stupid a lot of the time) and others tell me their story. Neither can be true but its called seeking knowledge and the why something is happening.
And considering all that and that I aint a VVUS die hard either long or short you still want me to take this bet? Would think you would start to miss my wit if nothing else :P and the amusement I provide.

And to top it off you want me to get up at 5 in the morning for a bet that some people are going to loose everything they worked for in their lives? I aint a saint defending the honor of the (stupid) weak but this sounds like you are asking me to put myself on the line without even knowing all the facts, for one, you could be assencio himself holding another 750k in the back pocket ready to dump it when it hits 7 1/2 which will definetely crack it, Just like how it was done to break 9 1/2. And for sleep I think vvus can go take a hike. Wake me up around 10 or so pst.

I do not know VLAD except from this one forum. He could be playing at the other end on other stocks we are both in. Just because we both came to have similar ideas at this point in time does not mean a thing. Seems kinda strange you would ask us both to be binding to something just cause we both seem to belive at this point in time that vvus is a buy. (see my comments above about prices). |
