To all: I probably haven't been very wise about Bay... In at low 30s. Up some and then down - a lot. My original reason for a Bay position was because of their strong presence in the cable modem market. That rational was fairly thoroughly trashed by another poster soon after I bought; but I stayed anyway - faith? No. Inertia - more likely. Cable modem rollouts have been slow. There has been no noise from Bay about any strategy in that specific area that has slapped me in the face; and now - ADSL announcements which threaten to eclipse what seems to me to be a relatively complacent approach to cable strategies altogether - on the part of those doing it and their suppliers.

Now, discussions of takeovers and cable modems aside, the basic question is - why should I stay with Bay? There is a definite case of buyer's remorse here... So, if anybody wants to help me understand what makes Bay a keeper from a macro perspective, please let me know, will you? Thanks.
