Big 3, auto suppliers & y2k. From today's detroit free press...... Chrysler to spend $55 million this year to fix y2k bugs. Ford to spend atleast $50 million. GM to spend between $360 million to $500 million. Last year GM spend $44 million on y2k issues. No numbers available for the large auto suppliers. The smaller suppliers ( revenues less than $100 million ) are not in good shape as they won't typically tackle the problem till it hits them right on the head. Regards, KPV
