BrokerG, I am not aware of this rumour. But please elaborate. The term "junior" is only relative. The "junior" geologist you are referring to was the guy (of Albanian origin with ~PhD level education) who developed the theory of the ore deposit as we know it now. I.e. based on a deposit that he was familiar with, he advanced the theory as to where to target/advance the drilling program. I guess he's been with Exall for about two years and this be ample time for them to see what he can do. (The cream usually rises to the top).
The Mine Manager, as far as I know, "inherited" the "senior" geologist. As far as I remember, there was nothing wrong with the "senior" geologist, except that he was part of the previous "regime". But when you have two top notch people on the payroll, I would speculate (and I stress speculate, because I have not talked to anyone at Exall or Glimmer on the subject) you would tend to reward the one who has made the company's future as bright as it is,10-20 years life.
In case someone else "had the same fit" when reading the previous post as I did, may I reiterate that to Exall's credit, that even before Bre-X, they have always had professional advice/audit from the well respected firm of Roscoe Postle Associates of Toronto. Then there is the additional check and balance provided by a JV,in the form of GME.
