Interesting, and about time.
I've been wondering if the analysts visit to China would eventually attract some attention to this stock. Also, now that Koo has gotten rid of most of the shares he just purchased in the offering, and reduced his margin debt, this removes a big overhang on this stock. Also if analysts start covering the company, they can hold Mr. Koo's feet to the fire, and this should cut down on his shenanigans.
Does anyone know whether Koo has to report the sale of the warrants, if he sold them? Because if he didn't, there he has a strong motivation to get the stock price back up into the 20s, and get the warrants in the money.
I still think the earnings report(MarQ) will be so so. But remember the JunQ was the quarter last year that they had the huge sales to TI for back to school calculators, with a big jump in revenues and earnings. They could see a repeat of that performance.
All in all, given the pick-up in volume and price yesterday, this stock looks much better.
