To Gary & Bryan,
I hold PRDM shares, have read their literature, and talked to investor relations a few times in the past, although not this week. The attraction of PRDM has been stated to be due to the fact that they are the supposed leader in the high speed, high density SRAMs that are so desired by the communications sector such as USRX, MOT, etc... They were supposed to be above the commodity SRAM fray, because their SRAMs were supposed to be unique, filling a niche market.
The recent big selling chunks and last company announcement though, suggest that their SRAMs may not be quite as precious as they were cracked up to be. I am trying to find out more through their investor relations firm before deciding whether to dump, hold or buy more. I really don't know at this moment which is the smartest. My investor relations phone call from 2 days ago went unanswered, which doesn't inspire terrific confidence at times like this. I sure would like to hear from any other SI PRDM followers, esp true silicon/SRAM technotypes. If I learn more, I'll post more.
