After the GTE fiasco , where they are liable for $10,000. per customer for about 100,000 customers for inadvertantly publishing unlisted numbers (even though they were able to retract most of the listings); imagine the liability if billing data of millions of customers inadvertantly became available to a third party. Of course, Microsoft never has bugs and loop holes in its released products so not to worry.
