Your a good man Dick...that helps much. #2 is the spot as you say I'm having trouble...just sits there flashing a "logging in" message, then after awhile hangs up. Was wondering if the code date or version is easy to find...I see a 2-6-98 date in the modem diagnostics section of control panel when I ask for more info. and it communicates with the modem.
