Tom - I just checked CBOE on open interest for SOX options, and the total of ALL calls and puts for 315-330, Apr, May and June, total only 2229 contracts; 1316 calls and 913 pus. There just isn't enough liquidity. As to the comment on confirmations on options, they are definitely slower on confirmations than for stock. I can buy or sell MU on one computer, and see the trade within seconds on the other computer. It seems that all of my E-Trade MU trades occur on the CSE, not the NYSE, however, it is always at the proper NYSE bid ask price. By trading on the CSE, the trade stands out more, and I always see it, and print the screen for my records. I also print the confirmations, just in case I ever need to prove anything. My MU file for this year is already about 7 inches thick! <g> Patrick I am looking for MU to repeat the actions of the first week in April, whereas, MU shot up from 28 to 32 5/8, and within 5 days, was back below 28. We will see what this BMX does to it. |
