(1) I hope that SI does not follow in Datek's steps and ruin a nice
easy-to-use interface by adding too many bells, whistles, and Java-
coded graphics or animation.

(2) GO2NET is looking for ways to enhance their revenue stream, by
both subscriptions and advertising. I paid for a lifetime SI
membership. I hope it is honored, and that GO2NET does not try to
sqeeze more money out of me for the current services. If they want
to add more services and try to sell those, well, we'll see.

(3) I subscribed not only for the privilege of posting, but also
to avoid all the *?!@ banner ads. GO2NET had better not try to up
the revenue at the subscribers' expense by sticking us with a
bunch of bandwidth and screen-space hogging ads.

If GO2NET tries to milk the subscribers on SI, they will experience
a firestorm like nothing seen since the so-called Communications
Decency Act (a.k.a. net censorship).
