I think this Lu stuff is pretty interesting.I'm not a close follower (yet) so this is a cursory view. I wonder how much of a blowout the quarter really was. The co earned .14 against a .02 last year. Not a tough comparison. Revs were down sequentially from 8724 bil to 6157. EPS last q was .88. After acquisition related charge, earnings this q .02. Either last q was an anomaly, there is tremendous seasonality, or this was actually a down q.Maybe someone could help out on this aspect? Gross mgs are obviously impressive. I find it a little hard to believe that they will actually buy either of those co's, particularly NOKA.What would they get from NOKA that they have to have? CSCO on the other hand is extremely expensive already and I'd imagine would command a premium on top of that. I still can't decide whether Q earned .25 or .36. Seems to be in the eye of the beholder. After all, LU earned .02 after charges.It's true of course that this was an acquisition as opposed to a writeoff. Is there qoing to be a 1900/amps Q phone? I'll take all that stuff about the Q phone strategy back if it turns out there will ne both a 1900/amps and an 800/amps Q. I was aware that larger dual mode phones like the QCP820 are being sold in large numbers. With the exception of this connector thing, friends tell me this is a very good phone.The best, obviously, would be a 800/1900/amps Q. What time is launch? Dave
