I'm interested in what you said about DLJ. You said it can take up to 3 minutes for a trade to be filled at the open and seconds at other times. My question is how long does it take them to notify you that a trade has gone through? For example I'm with Ameritrade and placed orders at approx 10:30, 11:00 and 3:00. I didn't receive notifications that all had been filled until after 4:00 (I received fill notifications on 1 or 2 of the trades, for the remaining 8 I heard nothing until after 4:00). I know the trades went through much earlier based on the fill prices.

Part of what I'm looking for is timely notification of the trade executions.

Any input is appreciated
