Founded in 1954, Siderca SAIC, is nowadays one of the leading worldwide
seamless steel pipes manufacturers. The product line includes casing,
tubing, line pipe, and mechanical pressure and temperature tubing.
Its industrial center operates in a fully integrated plant located in
Campana, 80 km (50 miles) away from Buenos Aires City, Argentina, on
Parana de Las Palmas river.
The plant is on a 300 hectares site and includes one of the world's
newest seamless pipe mills.
The plant's annual production capacity is over 700.000 tons, 70% of it
is exported to more than 50 countries all over the world and Siderca es
a reliable supplier of the world major oil companies.
Siderca is one of the Techint Group of companies, a global industrial,
engineering and construction organization with proven experience in
supplying products and services for a variety of energy and industrial
applications.
It also integrates DST, an alliance with Tamsa - of Mexico - and Dalmine
- of Italy -, which efficiently complete their equipments, product line,
commercialization network and human resources.
Siderca, Tamsa and Dalmine altogether have 25% of the market share of
the world seamless steel pipe market. This market share increases to 30%
if only pipes for the oil industry are considered.
