Mark, my take on it is like this.

1. Y2K investment conference in NY next week
2. TAVA presents at a RED CHIP forum on 8 May
3. TAVA earnings come out on 14 May
4. TAVA management is being quoted in various magazines and articles such as Fortune, EE times, etc.

I think the word will continue to expand over time. Right now I am happy that the company is focused on growing the business and increasing the reach of its software. This will drive earnings seqentially quarter over quarter and year over year. This will get attention more than anything else. I tend not to trust management that is overly active in promotion as their time is very valuable and it distracts from the primary mission.

The press and people tend to focus on a major issue at a time. The topics du jour are male impotence/Viagra and Internet mania. At sometime in '98 the spotlight will shine on Y2K in a more focused way and the sector will receive coverage and deserving companies will surge. By mid 1999 into 2000 Y2K the flood lights will be on and stories and coverage will be ubiquitous and even mom and pop at the corner store will be talking about it.

10-20% moves in TAVA today is just noise to me relative to what late 98 and 1999 holds in store for TAVA and other companies in this sector .

IMHO,
Brian
