Magnifoam Update On Design, Engineering And Fabricating
Division - Selected As Supplier To Bombardier Regional
Aircraft Program

BARRIE, ONTARIO-

Magnifoam Technology International Inc. today reported that its
design, engineering and fabricating division, PolyFab Corporation,
has been selected to design and furnish the thermal-acoustic
insulation system for the Bombardier Aerospace Dash 8Q Series 400
turboprop regional aircraft program.

"The Dash 8Q Series 400 is the fourth Bombardier aircraft program
to include PolyFab's thermal-acoustic insulation kit system. This
is in addition to the insulation we are currently supplying for
the Canadair Regional Jet(r), Challenger 604(r) and Global
Express Aircraft(r)," said George Knowles, Managing Director and
Chief Operating Officer, Magnifoam Technology International Inc.

The thermal-acoustic insulation system supplied by PolyFab, uses
proprietary noise and vibration technology to provide regional jet
passengers with a smoother, quieter in-flight cabin environment.
Bombardier reported that in excess of 1,500 turboprop regional
aircraft will be built over the next two decades making it the
fastest growing sector in the aerospace industry. This new
aircraft completed its first test flight in January 1998.

as the supplier of its insulation system," said Thomas R. Ambeau,
Magnifoam's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Partnering
with our clients to develop custom solutions has proven to be
effective, resulting in strong ongoing relationships. These

silicone foam into a variety of aerospace applications, allowing
us to grow in this sector," he added.
