Berney; RE:" The Lady And The Tiger "
Another excellent post, Berney. Thank-You!
>if you were going bet your future on one of these two stocks, which would you choose ?
Both. Deep, in-the-money LEAPS with far-out strike dates. Roll them over (higher) and out (longer) on T/A dips. Weight the capital used for MSFT:INTC = 3:2 (the projected growth rate)
There is a synergy between the two that neither F/A nor T/A wholly reveals. For MSFT, without INTC, has no platform (means) - and INTC, without MSFT, has no purpose (end).
Tame the Lady; Ride the Tiger !
I work with optimization models in my consulting practice, Berney. The optimum strategy is to buy everything - but different quantities of each thing. The question, therefore, is not which one, rather - what proportion. Bet my future ?? - I'll hedge my bets, thank you !
