I agree with you, and interestingly, I also half expected a positive EPS surprise. According to the conference call, Q1 revenues were still a record $31.2 million. It sounded to me like there were several factors that made Q1 softer than it otherwise would have been. They delayed a software release from the Apertus division due to some quality issues. That should ship in Q2, and should positively impact the quarter. The other item was that there were no really big orders in the quarter. That could also change in the quarters to follow.

It sounded like the IBM OEM deal has some real potential. IBM is in the process of bringing their sales team up to speed, and volume should begin to ramp in Q3. (Sales will start to occur in Q2.)

I didn't write it down, but I think they said that 50% of their customer base were new customers in Q1. That's some pretty impressive customer growth. (Unless they only had four customers before. <g>)
