Technopeasant --

You're a fantastic sport. You countered every point I'd made.

As for sore fingers, I don't type the press releases. I just cut and paste and it takes seconds. When it comes to cruising corporate information, I'm in the Le Mans class. :)

The relative lack of news was really the focus of my comment. I had the impression that the NN news machine had been somewhat quiet recently. Certainly if you look back at previous quarters the number of releases has dropped by half in this quarter v/s the last several. I don't know why, and maybe I made a mistake by speculating that there may be change in communications strategy?

I've not followed NN as long as you so didn't realize their news had slowed.

More than speculations on earnings, I'm curious about what's happening in the industry. Nearly every day there's another story on who's merging or partnering with whom. One day Cisco says they're buying NetSpeed for their ADSL and the next they're partnering with Ciena for their WDM. I still don't know who their telecom partner will be --- probably not LU. Rumors about LU buying ASND hardly have time to cool down before they start again. Then today a journalist speculates LU might be looking at NN. Seems unlikely b/c of Siemens, but I suppose this keeps everyone on their toes. I still think it'll be LU/ASND and NN will strengthen its ties to Siemens so no one can touch them.

Then again I could be way out in left field. :)

Later --
