You make it sound as if the Bears only hold their short positions never wavering without regard to the market.

Yes there are some stocks that I would prefer to just hold short, But one of the qualities of a good trader is to know when to step aside or even to reverse their position.

For instance DELL, I think the move from 70 1/2 to 79 5/8 was mostly driven by short covering on the break above 70 1/2.

I covered mine on the move. Of course the idea of not being short one of the potentaily greatest shorts ever, caused me to put the stock back out. 78 3/8.
My story has not changed at all, but I knew what was going to happen after the break.

After seeing GTW report, Great numbers, but a little light on Revenue, and going down on the news, I wonder if DELL can live up to what are sure to be very high expectations.
