Oh, Did I Bring The "Falling Knife" Virus...?

As I understand, as a point of clarification, you
catch a falling knife with your torso if you're unlucky.

Okay, well, first brutal honesty: I bought SEEK
to round off my holdings today at slightly above
29. So, there you have it. Maybe, from the SHORT-
winded perspective (as opposed to we LONG-winded
sorts), I have brought pain to myself.

Oh, the District was chilly today. No
giggling. No frolicking. Sounds of people exiting.
Somebody got trampled, I'm afraid.

And, now, SEEK announces its earnings. In a matter
of, I guess, moments. Drum roll... please.

SEEK, which, according to an MSNBC "article", is
the ONLY internet company of any size that hasn't had
ANY insider sales this year. None. Can you be really
dumb and an insider, too? Well, of course, you can.
Nobody seems to know if SEEK's insiders might have
had their hands tied because of some sort of restriction
or another in conjunction with their fairly recent SPO.
I asked on my "home" SI thread--or what used to be until
recent ravaging--to a resounding silence.

Now, a final thought for now. I e-mailed SEEK a month and
a half ago URGING them to BUY SI. I wonder if the
Dwyers would have considered the two compatible. Alas,
we shall never know. Oh, what might have been...

Best Regards,

c m
