As someone who once was a specialist and who now trades fulltime
behind a computer I always thought Richard Ney had no idea what he
was talking about. MM's can conspire together and they get out of
the way when they don't want to buy or sell; a specialist must make
a market even when he is the only buyer or seller and public orders
have priority over what the specialist is doing.

There is a lot more "funny business" with 4 letter stocks than
3 letter stocks.
