An AFC for a car would take up as much space as a gas engine but be lighter, quieter, cleaner and cost less to refill and maintain. It won't catch on fire or blow up, runs at same temperature as a cup of warm water and will not freeze (PEM fuel cells must be kept warm). Tank to hold the hydrogen will be filled just like your propane for the BBQ. Tanks are aluminum with fibreglass and Kelvar. Tank will take a car 300 - 400 miles on one fill of hydrogen
