To the "thread",

ASFT reported earnings this afternoon and held a conference call.
Earnings were within my expectations, a loss of $162,000, or $.01.
Revenues were slightly lower than I had forecast based on weaker sales in Europe (where it appears ASFT is winding down business) and weaker sales of products which comprise the Communications Software Group. Specifically the company suggested sales were weaker in Co-session remote and I-share.

Most importantly, the company has indicated it will refocus its business around Computer Telephony. This should come as no surprise to intelligent (we all know who is intelligent don't we?) participants of this thread.... the company indicated they would set up a *subsidiary* to hold essentially all of the non CT business and this would be run with "sepearate management" in Tucson. IMHO, possibly a prelude to a sale of that entire business.

Congratulations to Paul Thomas and the rest of the management team for making the difficult but IMO correct decision about the future of this business. This company has a shot to be a big player in CT. Congratulations also to all the folks in Cambridge, particularly Steve Manson, for the great job they have done in developing the future for ASFT.
