Can someone translate this last question / answer from the IBD interview published today, Especially the part "By mid-'99 you'll see installations in both DWDM and embedded databases.":

<BD: What's on tap for embedded networking?
Chadha: This year you'll see a lot of people designing products (with embedded networking chips). I think in the second half of this year you'll hear a tremendous amount of new applications. By mid-'99 you'll see installations in both DWDM and embedded databases.>
