Everything you need to know about SEVL cmountz Apr 23 1998 4:58PM EDT
PEOPLE! I have scoured this web site and not one post has really discussed what this technology is and what it does. I spent most of my day on the phone with 7th Level, finding these things out. For those of you new to investing, this is called due dillegence. That means finding out all that you can about a potential investment BEFORE you invest. Here's what I found out: 1) their software will be bundled into the Win 98 release. 2) WavePhore will market SEVL to their existing customer base. 3) NO ONE ELSE CAN DO WHAT THEY DO!
so what do they do? You see the ad at the top of the Yahoo! screen? Imagine if that was full motion animation and audio with out taking longer to download then it currently does? Interested? Wait, it gets better. They recieve around $20,000 for the design of a clip for a specific company. They also offer value added service. They'll run your website for you, they'll design a logo if you don't have one. They'll animate your CEO if you want them to. This is increadible stuff!
For those of you who still don't get it, instead of advirtising banners, and pop-up flashes, a company could have full-motion animation and audio. So what's the downside?
Untill Win 98 is released, the only way to view content in their format is to download it from their site. This takes about 3 minutes. FYI - WWW.7thLevel.com. Go there, download the product, and follow the instructions. They have several demo sites set up for you to look at, and this stuff is amazing! There is not a company in the world that wouldn't prefere to have motion and sound instead of banners, and this comapny can give it to them! Windows is the industry standard, I bet 90% of you are using Win 95 right now. When you upgrade to Win 98, you will have their technology preinstalled on your operating system. When you enter a site using their format, you will see full motion audio and animation.
Once again, I encourage everyone who hasn't done so already to visit their site, www.7thlevel.com, to see what it is that you have purchased. If you don't want to buy more, I will be surprised.
If you have any questions, send them to me: Mzweig@aol.com. I talked with them all day, and feel like I have a good grasp of what' |
