Details are that the webmaster of OMGD's site has removed the old material and posted alleged quotes from Mahler about problems with the company. Now either Mr. Gibson is telling the truth or he has just bought himself into a huge lawsuit. This is not an anonymous posting on a newsgroup. This is from an identified source and libel if untrue. Assuming Mr. Gibson is not some snot-nosed 14 year old, he must realize the consequences of libel on himself and his business. Between the upside of getting a few thousand payment for the website and the downside of losing his business and a lot of money for lawyers and legal judgements, I don't think Gibson would publish outright lies. As for Scacci saying that everything is great, I would be very surprised if he said, "Yup, it's all a scam. I'm headed to the airport to go to Brazil with your money." I am not saying this is a scam, just making the point that I would want reassurance from Mahler, rather than Scacci. BTW Website is still the same today.
