You are running around wearing tights? This is the one of the funniest things I heard recently. You must be adorable or something!! Can we call you Twinkle Toes?

What a weird news day!! Some creep injected his baby son with the AIDS virus so that he wouldn't have to pay child support, and now the child is seven and has full-blown AIDS. The father has finally been arrested.

A couple here in California went to a marriage counseling session with a minister. The husband had a can of beer (excuse enough to end the session in my opinion), and then pulled out a gun and started shooting at his wife. She pulled a gun out of her purse and returned fire! She is in serious condition in a hospital tonight.

And I saw the video tape of O.J. Simpson--the one where he told an English newswoman who was interviewing him he had a surprise for here, and then lunged out from behind a door making stabbing motions with a banana, a crazed look on his face. Very creepy.

It sounds like it will take a long time for Hawaii's economy to recover. I had forgotten about the new agricultural competition. Today I saw a book in the new section at the library. The author was arguing against economic globalization. I am not sure what I think, but there is certainly an an argument to be made against it. Even the NAFTA concept, which is close enough to home that there ought to be plenty of media scrutiny, is just a way for American companies to make a lot of money while trashing a foreign environment and paying slave wages. I am so happy that Nike is being sued over the same issues now!!
