Ahhhh, Good Gene... And Something For The Cats & Dogs...

You'll find this thread to be always cordial... and
informative. (And our old one will get back to its
former character and tone soon I think.) And as for
that time-out room, it serves its purpose wonderfully.

Now, for a little burnt offering. For the past 13 minutes
that's all, I've been reading up about something... well...
interesting... and WAYYYYY speculative... PNLK, a, dare I say it,
Bulletin Board stock. ProNetLink, is a kind of search engine
directory--to eventually include 1,500,000 businesses around
the globe. It will be a paid subscription service that will enable
businesses to hook up importer/exporter types of all stripes
and colors. It's billing itself as the most comprehensive source
of importer/exporter directory information in the world.

(Gene, you will want to know that an old acquaintance, a Mr.
Luke, is hanging out in its SI room. I just now came across
his name. The most interesting and comprehensive post is #301
from someone with the fortuitous handle, Prosperous Soul.
As opposed to my new handle, Preposterous Soul.)

I stress, this IS DANGEROUS TERRITORY. Unaudited. Not
exactly a big accounting house just signed on. But, it's e-commerce
facilitation. It looks like there may even be transaction-based
fees. It IS a search engine (says he to the cheers of the
District). And, it, on the basis of 13 minutes, sniffs like it
might be real. Their website pronetlink.com certainly
looks real enough and was supposedly designed by heavyweight
site shop (which I've never heard of... but I haven't heard
of most heavyweights in this burgeoning field.)

Anyway, perhaps, worth a gander... if you're bored.

Good Evening,

c m
