Vitas: Thanks. Findings and Forecasts was Edson Gould's market letter. Maybe that is one of the letters the broker read. Gould was strikingly accurate in the 1970s. In November 1979, he published a special report entitled "The Sign of the Bull" in which he forecast a high for the DJI of 3475 on 1/11/90. That was several hundred points off. However, he also forecast a 7/14/87 high of 2314 and a 10/9/87 reaction low of 1882. Without going back to check, I believe the 1987 figures are in the ballpark.
