NEWS OUT TODAY ON GLOW Global Games Corp (OTC: NASDAQ GLOW) (www.globalgames.com) anounced the aquisition of International Gaming Resorts Inc. The acquisition was consumated through a private placement with a subsidiary corporation of Global Games. The net effect will result in an infusion of cash and other assets totaling $3.5 million. Gary Jamieson, CEO of Global Games, said "The proceeds will enable us to begin operations of our virtual reality casino on the Internet by February 1997, from our headquarters in the Caribbean. The casino that is currently in developement will offer computer users around the world the chance to play Poker, Blackjack, Bingo, Sportsbook and Slot Machines with real money at stake." One analyst has predicted that on-line gaming could be a $10. billion a year indusrty by the year 2000. Janice Jones (Las Angelos Times) stated..."industry experts are convinced that gambling over the internet is a market waiting to explode." Gambling of all legal varieties generaed 44 billion in revenues in the United States last year, according to International Gaming and Wagering Business Magazine. In fact, the total amount of money wagered was $550. billion, compared to $121. billion in 1982. Global Games Corp has arrangements to operate it's Internet based casino and is currently selecting marketing partners throughout the world.
