Regarding KTEL, you may be right--I really didn't pay that much attention (perhaps it was my dislike of disco--who knows)--but I do remember the Squawk Box show when they played the music.

But I do remember them reporting on SEVL on Tues and Joe K. said he really didn't want to report it because he knew that people would see the report and run out and get it. But he said that because it was the most active stock on the NASDAQ and it had double or tripled at that point that it was news and they needed to report it. He actually urged people not to try this at home--which I took to mean buying the stock now. The stock went up another couple points within 10 minutes.

Also, later, they did a report showing other stocks from the past that had 90 degree up turns and showed that they eventually went down and suggested that many investors get burned.

But that was SEVL---like I said, I didn't pay that much attention to the KTEL reporting.
