I've been unfaithful.
I joined SI in December after reading this thread for many months. Like many of you, I joined because of the ASND thread.
With the Internet frenzy of late, I've been frequenting lots of new threads on SI, and sometimes I'm astonished that anyone would pay SI to read some of that garbage.
My point is that only now am I really starting to appreciate the intelligence, knowledge, hard work, character, energy, self-moderation, and humor of this thread. I won't name names because someone always gets left out, but all the regulars here -- regardless of each one's stance on Ascend -- are essential, indispensable parts of our ASND community. Gary Korn's (hopefully temporary) departure only highlights the fact that we function together as a group, and a well-oiled, well-maintained, good-looking machine of a group at that.
I've posted only one or two nuggets of hard information on ASND -- as a momentum investor in a bull market, the extent of my successful strategy is "buy now" -- but I do my part by investing, and I want each of you to know that I'm thankful for what we have here. |
