Jay,
This is not easy for me to say but I may have to rethink my positive attitude toward ETMP.
With the price around 3 I started to think about picking up some more shares but figured a little more DD was required. On 4/17 I called Don Masey Cad in Plymouth, MI (as per ETMP's press release, their largest potential customer to date) and talked to Jessie in the Parts Dept.. Jessie had not heard of ETMP but checked around while I was on the phone and found that someone from ETMP had called Don Massey's general manager who referred ETMP to Larry Burton, Don Massey's Service Director. I then talked to Larry, he said yes, "I did talk to ETMP and told them when they had something for me to look at to come by." He did not come across as very enthusiastic about ETMP's system in our conversation but what bothers me most is, according to Larry, Don Massey Cad. has given ETMP no commitment and issued NO purchase order to ETMP for even one unit.
Once I picked my jaw up off the floor, I called Excaliber Motors in Wisconsin (the manufacturer of ETMP's units according to ETMP's press releases) in an attempt to find out if they really were going to manufacture something for ETMP. I told the receptionist I wanted to talk to someone about ETMP and shortly a gentleman named John picked up. We had a pleasant conversation, John said yes, Excaliber is making the units for ETMP, they plan on producing about 1,000 units per month starting in July, ETMP is a good customer etc. etc.. As I was thanking John and about to hang up I asked for his (John's) last name and he said it was Blasczik. (place the sound of alarm bells here) "John, do you work for ETMP?" (as in National Sales Manager) his reply "....yes." Ya know Jay, sometime during our conversation, John could have said "excuse me, I don't work for Excaliber but..." because at the beginning I told him exactly why I was calling ( "to get some information on ETMP because I am thinking about investing in the company"). According to John, he was at Excaliber helping them get ready for production of the units. All in all rather deceptive, at least that is the way it seamed to me.
Well, finding myself on the phone with ETMP's Sales MAnager, what better time to ask him about Don Massey's seeming lack of interest in ETMP. John insisted Don Massey Cad. HAD given ETMP a purchase order and was behind their product 100%. OK, I thought to myself, maybe someone other than Larry Burton at Don Massey was responsible for issuing the purchase order to Eventemp, but when I asked John for a name of someone at Don Massey Cad. that could confirm his statements John claimed he could not remember and all his paperwork concerning Don Massey was in Scottsdale and it would be 4 days (4/21) before he would be in his office. Jay, I have a very hard time believing John doesn't know the name of his contact at his largest account.
On 4/21 I called ETMP's office in Scottsdale, John was tied up so I talked to Ken Simonis, Director of Sales. We had a very pleasant chat but Ken also could not remember the contact's name at Don Massey. Strange. Ken said he would have John call me tomorrow (4/22).
4/22, I gave up on John calling and called him. He said things were very hectic around the office and assured me he would call tomorrow 4/23.
4/23, John called around 5:00 today. According to John their contact at Don Massey Cad. has been deluged with calls concerning the Eventemp system and is getting tired of it. As a result, in order to make their contact's life easier, John has decided that it would be in their best interest if they did not disclose the name of the person at Don Massey Cad. who issued the purchase order to Eventemp worth several million dollars.
I don't know Jay, I recon I should be surprised but after nothing but vague and evasive answers for several days I think I saw this coming. In my opinion, I don't think there is any purchase order.
I now look at ETMP's past press releases and wonder just how much if any is true.
I feel used and abused. To talk to Brad Schroeder, president or Ken Simonnis or John they are friendly, happy to talk to you, honest, hard working people who then turn around and throw up a road block when an investor tries to verify what they say in their press releases.
Speaking for myself, I no longer have any faith in the honesty of Eventemp Corp. and strongly suggest, to anyone else who might consider investing in Eventemp, DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE -BEFORE- you buy one share.
I sincerely hope I am wrong about ETMP. If anyone calls ETMP or Don Massey and comes up ANYTHING that will verify ETMP's claims PLEASE let me know.
