We have found that ALL APC alleged UPS's SUCK. All we buy are 'BEST' UPS's. we have taken power surges thru the most expensive APC they make, and fried a few H-P hot-swappable DASD. The server never crashed persay, but it fried the HD, and luckily RAID-5 covered our asses.
