I honestly cannot believe the reaction on this tread to the news about FNET being spunoff into an independent entity. Bad news?? Decreased shareholder value?? FTEL holders being screwed?? Frank getting rich why we go broke??
Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. This is a milestone event in FTEL's(yes FTEL) history. We have been waiting for this to happen for over two years. This is, has been, and always will be the grand plan. FTEL=HARDWARE FNET=Service If FNET suceeds, then also does FTEL. No ifs, ands or buts about it!!!! You cannot create a service that runs on hardware that is is either obsolete or inferior to the competitions'. So once again, if FNET makes is big, its will be mostly due to the fact that FTEL's hardware(the dvg) is legit. With that being said, you would think people would understand that other companies, with no affiliation to FNET, would begin(actually, have begun) to purchase dvgs for their corporate intranets. Then, with increased awareness of Franklin ability to produce quality communications products, both old and new technologies developed by Franklin would begin to trickle off the shelves. Rosey picture??? Yes. But very possible??? You bet.
If FNET successfully IPOs and raises anywhere close to $100m, we will all be rich. Enough said.
