No way. SVGI and all other Intel vendors can't even acknowledge simple orders, so how could they crow about 0.18(see below). If you go back through the thread, there is some good evidence for Intel using SVGL for it. Intel claims to have first silicon on 0.13 also. We probably won't be able to settle this bet til 2001, but I wager it was made on a Micrascan IV(ArF).

These are just my educated guesses based on what I've read. No challenge intended.

PS In mid to early '97 Micrascan IIIs were being used for some 0.18 pilot stuff. I didn't go too far back in the thread, but I had to dig this article up for Mason, so it was already dated in Oct. '97
