Good point! Much of the addition in processing power since the 386 days has gone to ever more complex operating systems and graphical interfaces. Moving to voice and even more graphics will continue this trend. At the moment though, it's not here, so people just aren't thinking about preparing for it when they buy their machines. As a result, for many people it's fine to buy the old processor. mg
