Christine-- The story about the man who injected his baby son with the AIDs virus comes from my area and it was the lead story on the local news here Wednesday night. How can a father do such a thing? I looked at my 6 month old son who gave me one of those big smiles that babies are so good at giving and I just broke into tears thinking about that poor little boy. And to think the man has continued to work in local hospitals as a phlebotomist in the six years since he (allegedly) did that to his son. His attorney was on the news last night proclaiming his client's innocence. They charged him with criminal assault instead of attempted murder because the sentence is worse on the assault charge. Hey! A 00 post number. A resounding harbinger of what promises to be a great day.
