Second, a 20%+ move in a week is something to be happy about....not just for options holders, either. Also, comparing oil service stocks to communications stocks is like comparing, well...oil and fiber. There are some pretty compelling reasons to buy oil service stocks at this point, just as there were compelling reasons to buy communications stocks toward the end of '97. The valuations, given the recent sell-off in oil service stocks, give those with a longer-term view a chance to buy some quality compaies. You could have picked up RDC in the mid 20's a month ago. Does anyone really believe oil will remain at these levels (speaking of ignorant analysts)? greg
