i dont believe a takeover in the next year is very likely as the value of the asset does not support the value of the stock at current market levels and the company has solved their short term liquidity crisis which takes away the need to sell. repap is a one asset company so it is relatively easy to value. upm and storra would be interested in buying capacity but there r lots of assets around (mac blo for one) at cheaper levels. there is just too much debt and debt reduction takes a long time to pay down. this company will be around for at least another 6 months to a year as they solved their short term liquidity issues. remember this is not a tech company, but one mill which produces coated groundwood.
