I called Investor Relations today. I asked them when earnings will be released. Answer: per SEC regulations, the company has 45 days to report earnings after the quarter ends; since March 31st is the end of the quarter, May 15th is the latest day to report. As a small company, they don't want to pre-announce the date because they are concerned about the momentum players getting into the stock the day before earnings and then take profit and sell off the next day. So earnings could be reported any day between now and May 15th. I asked them about the Internet plan. Answer: top priority for management, announcement could be next week or next couple of months. I asked about the status of the research paper and recommendation by First London. Answer: will be out anytime within a couple weeks. Summary: company and their investor relations are very tied lip, don't want to disclose anything. I suppose they aren't too happy with the recent pump and dump scenarios of Internet stocks. My personal opinion is if you really believe in this company and its management, then don't try to time the news because it can happen anytime. Stock could jump as much as 15 points in one day as MARG if the news is really good. I also suspect that the news will be announced along with the earnings report. The recommendation from First London will be probably released in the same time frame also. Some details of the Internet plan that are already leaked out to the news media: - combination of Internet with live reservation agents - company is in the process of negotiating a deal with a major Internet company. - company plans to increase the number of reservation agents from 150 to 1000.
