GA BARD. Glad you're here. See post #1611.
Actually, I hope Mr.Harvey shows up again; I think his perspective would be a valuable addition to this thread--assuming, of course, that he can temper his tone.
We aren't here to convince each other that we've made a great investment, because we just don't KNOW if we have. We THINK so, but we don't know. So, the more hard questions, the better. Otherwise, we're just "in denial" which, as someone once said, is more than a river in Egypt.
But I'm willing to stick about for a couple of months to see how the story unfolds.
Why? Well, my LATEST reason is that when I spoke to Mr.Torres I was totally unprepared for the volume of information he volunteered. I couldn't write fast enough. I couldn't think of questions fast enough.
The impression I was left with after I hung up the phone, was that he wasn't trying to convince me of anything--he was just telling me facts. I never told him my name, and I never told him I was a shareholder. There was no cautionary stance in his responses and, in my (inexperienced) view, that counts for a lot.
Now, Mr.Harvey might say Mr.Torres is just very adept at bamboozling people with fancy footwork, but I don't think so. I may be proved wrong (and that's OK), but right now I have to assume management is competent, has nothing to hide, and MDCE will succeed. |
