Sergio,
I need some help understanding how this will help existing shareholders. This isn't a trick question, I really need some help here. How is a presold secondary going to help us? Would an instrument of this kind be offered at a price higher than the current bid? It seems that ATP would have to offer it at an attractive price that would undermine the current low price and dilute the value for existing shareholders. How does this kind of offering work? I know that we need more shares available but anything except a stock split seems to be a devaluation to existing investors.
Also, what would be a reasonable number of shares for ATP to sell in an offering of this type? How much float does it take to make a stock attractive to institutions?
If the fund that currently holds so much ATPX stock is wanting to get out, I wonder why they haven't made some attempt to sell their shares in a similar manner?
Thanks in advance, I'm going to learn something today. JR
