10. CORRECTION: A market that closes off its daily high.

9. MAJOR CORRECTION: A market that's down for the day.

8. BEAR MARKET: A market that's down for as much as a week.

7. EQUITY MUTUAL FUND: Like a savings account that will always pay over 10 percent over several years and often more.
