One thing I have definitely noticed in the past 3 trading days is that there are no longer 10k blocks being swatted back and forth like a tennis ball. If anyone gets the chance to review the trading logs, they might comment on the truth of that statement. The last 3 trading days have shown sizable volume approaching 1 million shares. The prior time that we saw such volume, there was a slew of 10 and 20k blocks going off right and left. My suspicion is that the prior volume was MM wash trading to simulate volume, attract interest and then profit off of massive shorting. My suspicion is that now volume is real buying in small blocks from investors accumulating and the MMs can no longer get away with 10k blocks. I am sure the fact that there are 23 MMs also has removed that possibility too. Far too much competition for shares now. Anyone else agree or disagree with this observation or its implications? Thanks. Slow and steady so far.
